Rudi works for AEP - American Electric Power ~ I & M - Indiana & Michigan Electric. He began as a lineman, but he's currently a trouble shooter. Rudi enjoys his job. He has been employeed AEP for 24 years. He's looking forward to retiring one day and spending the rest of his life with me, the grand kids and our four legged fur kids.
I worked at the corporate office of NIBCO, INC. in Elkhart, IN as their communication technician for almost nine years. I programmed their telephone and voice mail system, installed phones, performed cross connects (the wiring for the phones) and trained new employees on the use of the telephone & voice mail system. I was the tech for both NIBCO's corporate office and Elkhart foundry.
In 1995, Rudi and I started a rubber stamp and scrap booking business, called Ink Angel, Inc.. I held the office of President. We won the Rubber Stampin' Retailer of the Year award, two years in a row. The award is given from a National Trade Magazine. The magazine is published every month for the stamping industry. As we traveled to different trade shows, it was humbling (and fun meeting new people) to be recognized by other store owners and industry vendors from across the country that knew who Rudi and I were because of the awards and our accomplishments.
It was Rudi's dream to always have his own business, not mine, but I was the one who kept the business going. He did the book keeping, I did the day to day tasks of ordering, planning, stocking, helping customers etc.. After nine years of the business, we decided it was time to move on. We were expecting our second grandchild and I was going to be the babysitter! Wooo hooo!
I am a people person. I loved interacting with my customers and employees. I had the best employees and customers ever! Thanks to Facebook, I've been able to reconnect with some of them.
We have eight Mi-Kis. One 4 1/2 lb stud named Tyco, and seven females. Kastle weighs 4 lbs, Bling weighs 4lbs, Monyet weighs 5 1/2 lbs, River weighs 6 1/2 lbs, Italeigh weighs 6 lbs, Chella weighs just under 5 lbs and Inky weighs about 6 3/4 lbs. We are getting a new Mi-Ki stud from Spain in June of 2011. His name is Campeon.
Besides breeding the MiKi dogs, we show a couple of our Mi-Kis in the rare breed show arena too. It requires traveling since there are not a lot of venues to show rare breed dogs with. Luckily Rudi is such a blessing when it comes to helping with our dogs.
We encourage you to call or
email (sofinemikis@yahoo.com) if we can help in any way. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We look forwarding to getting to know you!
Sincerely,
Denise & Rudi
& all our fur babies!
